Me.
Well, I realized I forgot about this blog for a little while... some interesting happenings are, well, happening.
I dont have time to fully dive into the details right now, but maybe later I will let you know. One interesting thing is I have joined a few clubs and now have 先輩(senpai) to whom I am supposed to use polite japanese (like I even know how to use inpolite >_<) I'll have a post on 先輩 later.
Anyway I am eating today with a very nice korean girl who is fluent in Japanese and Korean... but doesn't speak or listen to english very well, which is perfect! I get to practice my japanese loads! :D but on that note.. I have to go make myself pretty before I leave to eat with her. soooooo later.... perhaps.... will... beeeee.... a....better post >_<

For those of you wondering, "senpai" (which corresponds to the Korean "seonbae") means a predecessor or superior. At least in Korea the idea is that within your college/workplace/club/organization of any kind there are people who entered the same time as you, people who came along before, and people who came after. Senpai would be the latter of those. For instance, any alumni or upper classman at Yonsei is my seonbae, and any lower classman would be the opposite (hubae). Given that someone who comes along before me has more experience, it is only proper that I respect that person in my actions and language. Therefore, when David says that he has a senpai with whom to practice his formal Japanese, he means that he's befriended an uperclassman or some other form of superior to whom he is expected to speak politely.

hahahaha brooke has hollow legs. my mom always said I had a hollow leg because I could eat a lot and not get fat. I guess the leg finally filled in. Have you seen that movie hollow man? its not very good but they still madew a hollow man 2. Hollow looks like hallow and sounds like it too but they are different words.
